Alix Friedberg was born and raised in Los Angeles. She attended Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and Otis Parsons school of Design. Alix started her career as an assistant too many esteemed designers before designing her first independent film in 1999. Over the last 20 years Alix has designed over 18 Films, and several critically acclaimed television series. She has been nominated for 5 Costume Designers Guild Awards, and 2 Emmy’s including a win in 2018 for Excellence in Contemporary Television Costume Design for Big Little Lies.
